Bio
Hello! I’m Sarah.
I am a software engineer and technical user researcher. I build, prototype, study, and test interactive systems end-to-end. I enjoy working hands-on with engineering problems while grounding design decisions in real user needs and lived experiences.
My interests sit at the intersection of tangible interfaces and socially informed interaction design.
I’m currently pursuing an MSc at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC, where I work in Tangent Lab, exploring tangible and embodied interfaces, including robotic audio systems and gesture-driven interaction design.
Outside of research, I spend my time running, springboard diving, caring for my orchids, and reading.
